2009 has proven to be another great year for Lane Neave. At the 2009 New Zealand Law Awards Lane Neave enjoyed a fantastic level of success in winning four key awards at the ceremony held in November.

The firm, nominated in nine different categories, were winners of the following four awards:
- Mid-sized Law Firm of the Year
- Corporate and Commercial Law
- Employment Law
- Employer of Choice Award (51 - 100 employees category)

In addition to these wins, the firm also received runner-up placements in four further categories including:
- Family Law Award - additional nomination for Helen Fairgray
